The referee, on September 2, 1964, in an order awarding compensation on the express finding of permanent and total disability, found, inter alia, that the employer admitted that Valdez was injured in an accident arising out of and in the course of his employment on November 30, 1962, and that his average weekly wage was such that he was entitled to the maximum rate of $40.25 per week; and also, that the employer had filed a special admission of liability dated August 22, 1963, in which he admitted that the claimant had suffered a permanent partial disability equivalent to 50% as a working unit as a result of the accident.
